A coalition of leading health and civil rights organizations — including the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women, the National Urban League, the Southern Poverty Law Center, UnidosUS, the Coalition on Human Needs, Families USA, the National Health Law Program, and Protect Our Care — invites members of the media to a virtual press briefing on Thursday, March 13, at 10:00 AM ET. Speakers will discuss the devastating impact of proposed Medicaid cuts, which could put the health and financial security of 80 million Americans at risk — including 42 million individuals from communities of color who rely on Medicaid for healthcare.
